- Advising TMP Worldwide Inc. (now known as Monster Worldwide Inc.) on all UK acquisitions (including the takeover of HW Group, the acquisition of QD Legal, the acquisition of Bartlett Scott Edgar and the acquisition of Austin Knight, to name a few.)
- Closing the UK aspects of a US $100 million facility for Monster.com
- Acting on the £16.5 million acquisition of Action First Recruitment Consultants Limited by the Public Recruitment Group (PRG)
- Advising a number of recruitment companies on the impact of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003
- Advising the vendors (comprising institutional and management vendors) on the £33.7 million sale of the Locum Group to Reed Health Group Plc/Total
- Advising Capital Consulting Group on a phantom option scheme
- Advising on ongoing contractual disputes for recruitment companies
- Advising a number of leading recruitment agencies on preparing their terms of employment for staff, including restrictive covenants and confidentiality clauses
- Investigating on behalf of a range of recruitment companies, allegations concerning theft of confidential client and candidate information and database theft. Advising on admissibility of evidence obtained through covert investigations
- Issuing High Court litigation against various recruitment consultants who had misappropriated recruitment agencies' confidential databases and other trade secrets, obtaining search orders and freezing injunctions to prevent further breaches
- Bringing High Court proceedings on behalf of a number of recruitment companies to enforce restrictive covenants and confidentiality clauses against departing employees
- Advising on, and undertaking all forms of, Alternate Dispute Resolution on behalf of a number of recruitment clients, including successfully settling disputes through mediation and arbitration
- Acting for a leading recruitment company against a competitor for interfering with its dealings with a number of key clients
- Advising recruitment company clients on effective steps taken to mitigate against risk of information theft
